some fun at Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Dave's

We stayed with Pat's aunt and uncle while we were over in Selah. It was so nice to stay with them, they have such a beautiful home and are so fun to be around. Ty loved swimming in the pool and playing the "pinano."

Cooking with Aunt Chrissy

Uncle Dave getting Ty used to the water.

Then Ty wanted to help Dave get out the bugs out of the pool.

Then he wanted to do it all by himself. He is at the stage where he wants to do EVERYTHING by himself.

Swimming with daddy!

I didn't get any pictures of Tatum in the pool because I was in the pool with her but here she is watching Ty and daddy swim.

Ty swimming with his cousin Ali.

We borrowed this swimsuit from Xavier for Ty to try out before we bought him one. He has the floaties built in so it worked perfect keeping Ty afloat.

going to find papa

On Friday morning we headed over to Selah to watch the Anacortes fastpitch team play in the state tourney because my father-in-law is the coach. I told Ty we were going to Papa's softball game, he didn't know it was going to take four hours to get there. He looked through his binoculars and was trying to find his Papa, it was pretty cute. The drive went well, Tatum was a bit fussy but overall it was a quick drive over. It was VERY HOT, 96 degrees at the game to be exact! Luckily Pat's aunt lives in Selah so I took the kids over there while Pat stayed at the second game.

a little Bowman's Bay anyone?

My sister called this morning and said they were headed up to Deception Pass and I suggested we go to Bowman's Bay instead. So the Flynn's headed up our way and we all went out there. It is amazing that we live only 7 minutes from such a beautiful and fun place. All of the kids had such a good time and they loved the water, I thought it was freezing but it didn't bother them. My sister took some great pictures of the kids, you can see them by clicking here.

"Hold my hand daddy, it's creepy!" says Kendyl. She didn't like to walk on the dock over the water.

Ty peering throw the railing trying to find "his" boat to go on. Poor little guy, he thinks we have a boat.

Ty was so excited that we were going on a hike. He was running so fast he fell and got a huge fat lip.

Yep, we're coming Ty!

Tatum had no fear of the water. NONE! It was very difficult to keep her from walking out to waist deep water.

Ty loved playing in the water, finding little "crabbies" and picking up seaweed.

All of the kids! Notice one of my kids is in knee high water with a sweatshirt on and the other is in a diaper with a sweatshirt on and then there are Kayla's kids in the bathing suits.

a birthday celebration for three

On Pat's mom's side of the family, three of the little ones have their birthday about a week apart so this year there was one big celebration for Charlie and Alistair who are turning 2 and Tatum turning 1. Emilie (Charlie's mom) did a great job with the beach theme and even made little pudding cakes for the kids in lunch pails which they ate with their shovels or their hands. It was a lot of fun for all of the kids...the adults too!

Ty's Great Aunt Chrissi got all of her great nieces and nephews cowboy boots. Ty loved them. He immediately thought that he was a real cowboy and wanted to go find a horse to ride.

There is Tater in her cowboy boots...too cute!

Ty playing in the woods.

Ty's two other Great Aunts, Mary and Janie got Ty a raccoon hat and raccoon shirt. He loved it but what doesn't this kid love? You can give Ty a little box and he would be excited, I hope he stays that way.

Watch out Davy Crocket, here comes Ty! What I love most about this picture is Ty's shadow.

Pat trying to give Tater a bottle. She was a tired girl!

The picture is fuzzy, but Ty and his big cousin Jon chased each other in the woods and Ty had so much fun.

Tater opening her presents. She got lots of cute stuff including, ladybug boots from Grandma Maggie, cute outfits, books, cute boxes to put doll clothes in just to name a few. She is definitely spoiled!

Look at that smile!

"DIG" IN TATER!!!

Charlie, Tater, Ty and Sofia eating their cake.

Tatum again, LOVED the cake!
