Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Girl!

One year ago today at 7am I went into the hospital to give birth to the sweetest baby girl ever! Little did I know I was going to have a baby that weighed over 9 pounds! Looking back, my extremely large belly should have been a clue. I can't believe it has been one year already since I gave birth to our precious little girl. I get tears in my eyes thinking about the day we finally got to meet Tatum. It was so amazing and it has been an even more amazing year!

This is Tatum when she was four days old.

At one year of age Tatum can...

• walk very well and almost is running everywhere now


• say some words: mama, dada, ty-ty, baba (bottle), book, bye, hi, cup, duck, pup-pup (puppy), more (can say it and sign it), cheese, papa, ball, nana (banana)


• LOVES to read books!


• understand commands, for example: "Go get a book/ball/bottle, etc." and she will go and get it.


• she understands and obeys the word "no"


• wiggle her way out of a diaper change (so frustrating!)


• give the best open mouth kisses!


• put the cell phone to her ear and say hi


• sleep all night (thank goodness because the whole getting up in the middle of the night was getting old and was making me a little cranky)


• points to what she wants


• eats anything, her favorites are: spaghetti, pizza, chicken nuggets, graham crackers, cheese
  

We are celebrating Tatum's birthday on Sunday with family so it should be fun time!
