Little Leaps

Tatum loved all the balls!

I see you Ty!

Ty woke up this morning with ALOT of energy so I knew we needed to do something active. It had snowed a couple of inches and was cold outside so we decided to drive to Oak Harbor to a place called Little Leaps gym. We went with Cari and Riley and the kids had a great time. Everything in the place is soft so the kids can't get hurt. Ty and Tatum loved the ball pit the most!

I have to be totally honest, the place was nice, clean, safe and I didn't have to worry about anything but it was pretty expensive for what there was to do. It was $6/hour per kid so we only stayed an hour. The way I look at it, I can go to the Everett Children's Museum for $7 and spend all day there and there is more to do even though it's a little more stressful chasing after your kid for hours! But if you are looking for something to do one day with your kid, your kid will have fun if you go to Little Leaps. It was nice going to a place where I didn't have to worry about Tatum so overall it was a great day!

Here We Come

As you can see, the Trains are huge.

A family picture in front of the Thomas stage

Ty insisted on sitting on Papa's lap for the show.

Ok, I am ready. I have my conductor hat so let the show begin! It was pretty neat being in the second row to see everything so close. Some of the time the cast members were on the floor right in front of us so Ty was up and close with Sir Topham Hatt.

Let the picture speak for itself.

The excitement begins...

Walking into the show with Papa.

Ty had a great time at the show. We dropped Tatum off at my mom and dad's house and then took Ty out to dinner at Bob's Burger and Brew in M'ville and then headed off to the show. It was a lot of fun and Ty enjoyed seeing his "best friends." I was a little worried that Ty wouldn't enjoy the show as much because he was up the night before throwing up for 5 hours but this goes to show, put a little Thomas in a kid and he can get through anything!

4 for 4

Being 4 for 4 is great when you are a basketball player.
Being 4 for 4 is great when score a perfect score on a test.
Being 4 for 4 is not so great when all 4 people in your family get the stomach flu.

The countdown begins...

"Isn't this great!" said daddy. I couldn't help but take a picture of my three favorite people laying together on the couch. Pat just loved laying with both of them on the couch. It's hard to get both of them to stay still for very long, it helps when one of them is sick.
Two more days until we see Thomas the Train Live at the Everett Events Center. We mentioned it to Ty awhile ago but really didn't give much detail because he really doesn't have the concept of time and if we told him we were going to see Thomas he would want to go right at that moment. Tonight we were playing and I asked him if he wanted to go see Thomas and he said, "that's a great idea." I don't know when my two year started using that expression but it sure was cute. I have been so excited to see Thomas because I can't wait to see Ty's excitement. Just cross your fingers that neither one of us gets the stomach flu from Tater between now and Tuesday!

Happy Birthday Dad/Papa!

The kids played outside while the adults watched the Husky basketball game and they all took turns pulling each other in the wagon.

Yesterday was my dad's 51st birthday so we had my parents, my sister's family and my grandparents up for dinner. Ty just loves having his cousins come up, they just love playing with each other. I only was able to take a couple of pictures because an hour before everyone arrived Tatum got the stomach flu and threw up everywhere a couple of times and she only wanted me to hold her the rest of the night. I tried to Lysol everything before they all got here, so hopefully no one else will get sick.

Loving my kids

"Mom, are you really taking my picture again?"
"Yep Ty, mommy has to update the blog so just stand there for one second."

It had been a few days since I put pictures up, so here are my kids...again! Today was such a good day with both kids. I don't think either one of them cried at all today, yeah a tantrum free day...mark that one on the calendar. These are days that I just cherish and enjoy so much and am thankful that I get to stay home with them. I hope I don't have too many of these days because it really makes me want have a few more kids (or maybe just one more). I think I gave my kids at least 100 kisses each. Also, Tatum stood by herself without holding onto anything for 7 seconds twice. She is getting to be such a big girl these days.

Oh so kissable!

I know she is my daughter but isn't she the cutest darn thing you have ever seen? I just wanted to squeeze and kiss her all day. I just love dressing her up.

Baby Legs

Oh so cute!

Guitar Playing Dragon

Ty asked to wear his dragon costume from Halloween which is too small and wanted to play his guitar at the same time.

Valentine's Day at the Children's Museum

Playing in the water center

In the Construction Zone: What's more fun for a boy than building and then crashing?

Future Palaeontologist?

Pat showing Ty where to find some dinosaur bones.

Then we went to the top of the Children's Museum and there is just so much to do and it was such a nice day.

Watching themselves as they broadcast the news
Ty loved driving the bus (not a very good pic of Pat...oops) and talking on the intercom system.

Putting out fires in the Fire Station room.

Kendyl and Ty milking the cow

Driving the Tractor

Ty is driving the big train and he is making the horn blow.
Me and my Tater!
Ty was in heaven playing with the train tracks with Kennadi and Kendyl

Ty also loved driving the airplane, I hope he doesn't want to become a pilot. It would make me a nervous wreck.

The only thing I wanted for Valentine's Day was to spend good quality time with my family and that's what I got. We went down the Everett Children's Museum with my sister, brother-in-law and my two nieces. It was so much fun, Ty had a great time and so did we! We enjoyed it so much we bought a 1 year membership (Actually my mom ended buying it for us for a Valentines present, thanks mom!). It was really busy but there were so many things to do that you really didn't noticed until one of our kids ran off and we would lose them for a minute...panic would set in and then we would find them. If you haven't been there, it is a must! It is probably one of the best places to bring kids that is local because there is just so much to do for everyone!
HAPPY 9 MONTH BIRTHDAY TATER!

Nothing too exciting

Tatum dragging around my old cabbage patch by her hair.
Ty and daddy getting ready to read stories...aren't they cute?

Daddy and Grandpa Swapp are pretty excited that Tatum has already taken a liking to softball.

Ty is feeding Tatum cheerios, well shoving them in her mouth. What a helper!

Ty thought he was the best big brother feeding his sister.

Tatum loves to stand at the sliding glass door and watch Ty play.

Nothing too exciting go on around here. Just hanging out with the kiddos.
