I can't believe that Kayla and I are 30...time really does fly by! We got together at my parent's house for a salmon dinner and celebrated with family. Kayla made me a delicious cake for dinner and she got me a necklace with Ty and Tatum's name on it with a pearl. She is always good with the gifts, me on the other hand, I am a slacker. I was sick the week before our birthday and my computer wasn't working so I couldn't order her anything so I am trying to think of something good to get my wonderful twin sister. My hubby is surprising me on Saturday and taking me somewhere for my birthday, it is really nice of him but I HATE surprises. I have never liked surprises so I am trying to be a good sport about it and just go with the flow. I am sure that it will be fun considering my mother-in-law will have the kids for the night!

sick computer
So sorry not to update lately. Our laptop battery is dead and we had to order a new one. Hopefully it will arrive shortly so I can go blog crazy!

Tulips
The nice thing about living just 15 minutes from the tulip fields is that we can go over in the morning before all of the crowds and traffic. I drive past the tulip fields on my way to work and they are just so beautiful and I couldn't wait to bring the kids so we could attempt a family photo or at the very least get a good picture of Ty and Tatum together. I wish that I had some photo editing software so I could crop the bottoms off some of these pics to get the dirt out of the picture. Just as usual, Pat moaned and groaned about going but as soon as we got there enjoyed it. The kids just love running and running and finding every mud puddle!

It was time...
To get Tatum her first haircut! She sat still the entire time, saying "pretty Tamum," and the only thing she didn't like was wearing the smock to keep the hair off her. It was so much easier to get her haircut than it was to get Ty's first haircut. You can really tell that she got a haircut but it was nice to get the ends cleaned up and all one length now.
Easter
On Easter morning the kids find eggs and their basket when they get up. I loved the excitement of both kids this year. Ty was really good about letting Tatum find eggs and made sure she got about the same number as him. Their baskets were filled with bubbles, new baseball bat, PEZ candy, and a dinosaur. They both loved everything. That's what I love about this age, they don't care how big or small something is, they just love whatever it is!
