Never say never. Before I had children I said I would never have my kids birthday at Chuck E Cheese. Well it was inevitable and CEC knows how to throw a party for a kid! I loved it, I just showed up with cake and they did the rest. Anyone who knows me well knows I can't stand places where kids are running around without structure so I booked Ty's party from 9:30-11:30. I had mentally prepared myself to be patient and flexible but We were the only people in there for an hour besides one dad with two kids. It was so nice!

I can't believe my baby is 6! Well he isn't a baby any more but he was my first baby. Ty has grown up so much in the last 6 months. He is so kind and empathetic with his friends. He is obsessed with sports! When he isn't watching it, he is playing them. I know I am his mom and a little biased but he has quite the throwing arm! He is reading at a 2nd grade level and above grade level in math. He loves learning! It makes my heart melt to see him so happy.

Some recent Fall pics

I love the Fall

The leaves changing, crisp cool mornings, nice weather, hay rides, pumpkin patches and pumpkin scones at Starbucks are what I love about the Fall. We went to three farms today, it was the perfect family day! The kids were well behaved and the weather was perfect. It did crack me up at all the moms who had their kids wearing hats and gloves when it was 68 degrees outside because it's "Fall.". The kids rode ponies, had a hay ride, played, milked cows, watch cows poop, got their faces painted and ate corn dogs.

Tatum has two wonderful pre-k teachers that she loves.

She is enjoying ballet and tap class.

Ty is coming out of his shell and becoming quite the sports fanatic. During his soccer game he yelled, "no one is going to score on my watch!"

Ty is doing great in K. His teacher is already giving him first grade work.

I love being back teaching. I only have 20 kindergarteners this year!

My volleyball team is doing well and I am enjoying my players!!

Pat looks great, he has lost 56 lbs since January. He is skinnier than when I met him!

I need a new camera, the whole summer I had to take pics from my phone.

Big boy haircut

After several comments from certain family members about Brady's hair being long in the back and looking somewhat like a mullet I finally brought my sweet blonde boy to the Barber. He sat on my lap eating a dum-dum and was perfect.

A little park action

We have had the best weather in September, so in our free time we are heading to our local parks.

A Kindergartener

Ty started kindergarten this week and he is loving it! I could not have asked for a better teacher and school for Ty...well I might have requested her, ha! The school is only for pre-k and K, so the small atmosphere is great and i can kind if keep him in a little bubble for one more year. She understands Ty and wants to keep him challenged.
