24/7

Yep, that's right, the "Real" Spiderman now lives in our house.  The three houses on our driveway, including us had a garage sale this Saturday.  Our neighbors were selling this costume, so guess who has been wearing this since Friday night ?  Yep, you guessed it, Peter Parker!  He has even has been wearing it to bed.  If you tell Ty it's a costume, he corrects you and said, it's not a costume it's real and he is Peter Parker.  I just can't believe how into being Spiderman he is.  The kids at the park now are calling him Spiderman instead of Ty.

enjoying summer with friends

Our best couple friends in Anacortes are the Johnstons.  And through the Johnstons we have met the Sleepers, Shawn, Karah and baby Brooklyn.  What I love about these two couples is they are so easy to be around and we can throw things together last minute and get together have it be very casual.  Nicole brought an ice cream cake so we could celebrate Karah's birthday since she was going to be out of town for it.  The kids had a great time playing together and ended the night with a dance party.

nakey buns

I love when it's warm outside because when the kids make a mess I can just hose 'em down!

100 times

I have driven past the Snowgoose Produce at least 100 times and every time I say, "we need to stop there and get icecream."  It was on my "to-do" list this summer.  So we finally stopped and it didn't disappoint.

Not only can you get fresh organic produce but you get huge ice cream cones and huge cookies...delicious.

finding things to do in Kalispell

I had to keep busy with the kids while Pat was coaching and we found this park to play on.  Both kids loved it but Ty especially, because it was a dinosaur themed park.

sleeping in a hotel with Tatum=Not Fun

I thought that it was the tent when we were camping kept Tatum from falling asleep but nope, it is any place that is not her crib in her room!  We had four nights in hotels and it progressively got better but the first night was terrible.  She kept getting out of the bed, laughing and thinking it was funny until about 11:30 at night.  By the last night, when I took this picture she would just lay in the bed and read her book until she fell asleep.  Did you notice what book she is reading?  Spiderman!  She has to be just like her brother!

a little road trip

Pat had a baseball tournament in Kalispell Montana this past weekend.  The original plan was for Pat, Ty and Papa Swapp to go to MT.  But the week before we were going to leave, I decided that it would be fun for Taters and I to go along on the road trip.  To be honest, I was dreading the road trip but the kids ended up doing perfect and were the best car travelers.  It was nice to have Papa with us to help us out in the car, Ty loved sitting back their with his Papa!  I didn't get many pictures on the trip but here are a few at the water park in Kalispell.  Instead of taking the kids to Pat's game in the heat, I took the kids to the water park.  The kids loved the kiddie pool and it was perfect to do by myself with both kids.
I loved Montana and can't wait to go back next year!

hanging with Papa

I just loves these pictures of the kids with their Papa Swapp at the Swapp family gathering.  The last picture is taken two years ago when we said good-bye to Pat's cousin and her family.  Wherever their Papa is, you will find two kids!

finally

Everyday Ty checks the garden to see if there is anything to eat.  Usually we see nothing but green but today he spotted a nice red strawberry.  He was so excited to pick it but I made him wait until I grabbed my camera from inside the house.  He was so happy to finally eat something out of his garden!

Small town 4th of July celebration

I love living in this town.  They have the best events in which the whole town seems to attend.  The 4th of July parade was no exception.  The kids had a good time getting candy,  seeing Grandma Maggie walk in the parade, seeing cars, horses, dancers, etc. When Ty  gets nervous he plays with his hair...
